Failed attempt at witty title # 1754. I saw Somewhere at a screening in October. I had mixed feelings about the film but the overall mood that Sofia Coppola created could never disappoint. Why aren't I more like Elle Fanning? Sofia Coppola created a website that gives you an insight in the inspiration behind the film. The storyline was sort of mediocre but I could watch that trailer for hours on end.
Blogging wise, I've been out of the loop for months now. But I'm going to try to post more regularly again, for myself personally. First up's a new new, cleaner layout. Next up a new haircut, back to my bob. Due to lack of funds and inspiration, I passed winter rather dully. But as of late I'm really looking forward to Spring dressing. Let's hope this vague weather passes soon!

ah, die film ik echt heel graag zien! hij draait zondag tijdens het filmfestival maar helaas zijn de kaartjes al een week uitverkocht :( dus helaas zal ik moeten wachten tot april...

Deze moet ik dringend zien. Sofia stelt inderdaad meestal niet teleur:)
ben benieuwd naar de film, ondanks dat het voor sommigen een 'lost in hollywood' is. Het gaat bij haar nu eenmaal om sfeer, subtiele emoties, daar hou ik wel van. En nog meer dan naar de film kijk ik uit naar de lente :)
Aha, die moet ik binnenkort eens bekijken. De sfeer van Coppola's films is heerlijk!

sofia is such genious! arg, i fell in love with the movie just by watching the trailer and hearing pheonix music in the background!
Hmm ik heb hem gezien op het filmfestival in Gent en ik wou hem graag goed vinden maar het lukte mij niet helemaal. De sfeer en Elle zijn super maar ik bleef een beetje op mijn honger zitten qua verhaal... Maar laat je vooral niet beïnvloeden door mijn persoonlijke en niet zo heel belangrijke mening, ga gewoon kijken en beslis zelf maar ;)

Ik heb de film nog niet gezien, maar zou er wel eens tijd voor moeten maken want ben heel benieuwd!
Mijn banner is inderdaad gewoon met de handgeschreven en dan ingescand! Ben zelf ook niet zo'n held met programmeren, ik krijg het echt niet hoe ik wil eigenlijk, want ik heel graag die grijze rand rond mijn foto's weg, maar dat lukt niet helaas! Veel succes met de restyling hier ;)
